BBQ

The Welcome Back BBQ was this board's first proper event. Originally scheduled for ______, we ended up changing to ______ due to extreme heat advisories. Alhamdulillah, we did because we had amazing weather as well as an amazing turnout with well over 200 people! We had delicious food, fun games, a hayride, horses, smores, and hopefully, everyone had fun! 

Things we learned:

One downside was that we did end up running out of food, but we learned from that about how to better handle these kinds of things, like having servers and making sure to emphasize not wasting. We also had a small accident on the hayrides, so we need to take better initiative with safety, such as establishing and taking better safety measures from the start and having first aid kits on hand.
