Eid Al-Adha 2021

Check out pictures from the night before and early morning where our community and youth came together to help set up AND to the day of Eid where we Alhamdulillah had amazing weather.  About 200-300 people attended Eid Prayer outside on ISNA's front lawn! While this is an incredibly small number compared to what ISNA has usually seen on Eid, remember this is the first Eid Prayer after the Lockdown. Kids enjoyed the playset and large area to run around. There were cookies too :)

Things we learned:

Due to the morning dew, the grass was wet. Announcements were for people to bring their own mats and sheets to sit on, but some that people did bring did not work.  We brought a roll or two of plastic table covers for those that forgot, but this wasn't a very sustainable and environmentally friendly option. In a time crunch it worked, but Inshallah we hope to provide a better alternative in the future.
